If you are thinking of buying an electric bike, consider this:

LiFePO4 (lithium iron phosphate) batteries generally last twice as
long as standard lithium batteries, and more than 3 times longer than
SLA batteries.

This means that over the time you own the bike, the bike with a
LiFePO4 battery is considerably cheaper.

LiFePO4 = 1,000* charges
Lithium ion = 500* charges
SLA = 300* charges
